Naturally yours

     Going natural is a trend that many African American women are following. Many black women are saying no to "creamy crack", also known as relaxers and going back to their natural hair. The standard of beauty in our society tells us that straight hair is whats beautiful. But all over the United States black women are deciding to say no to this standard and rock what is naturally theirs.

     I feel that this is a beautiful trend that has begun. I love to see so many black women being set free by cutting the relaxer out of their hair, and wearing beautiful styles with what is naturally theirs. Overtime this may be the new standard of beauty for black women. Natural hair allows us to be comfortable with they way the God created us. The standards of beauty set in our country are not always easily attainable for black women, who have for years gone through great measures to wear their hair straight.With so many black women wearing their hair natural this could mean a new standard of beauty for black women as well as lots of money saved. The black hair industry is worth billions of dollars, with so many women spending thousands of dollars annually to keep their hair straight. Save time, energy, and money and go natural!
